Certified copy fees increase on July 1

Effective July 1, 2026, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services is increasing the fee for certified copies of vital records for birth, death, and marriage certificates. The fee will increase from $15.00 to $20.00.

Non-certified copies will continue to be available for $0.50 per page.
